1. Data We Collect

Pinwild collects the following data to provide wildlife tracking and lost pet services:

• Location Data: We collect your approximate and precise location to show sightings near you, to allow you to report sightings, and to send location-based notifications. This data is stored in our secure database.
• Personal Information: We collect your email address and User ID for account management and authentication.
• Photos: If you upload a photo of a sighting, we store that image and display it to other users.
• Device or Other IDs: We collect device tokens (such as Expo Push Tokens) to send you push notifications about sightings near you.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use this data solely to populate the community map, manage your account, and send push notifications about nearby alerts. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. User Generated Content

Users may post sightings. If you encounter inappropriate content, please use the "Report" button within the app. We reserve the right to remove content and ban users who violate our community standards.

4. Account Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)

We respect your right to delete your data. You can delete your account in two ways:

1. In-App Deletion (Instant): Open the Pinwild app, go to Settings (Gear Icon), and tap Delete Account. This immediately removes your login credentials and personal preferences.
2. Web/Email Request: If you cannot access the app, you may request full account deletion by emailing us at dustinbermingham@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete Account". Please include your registered email address. We will process these requests within 30 days.
